Through traditional stories and songs\, Wilder offers a heartfelt exploration of the history\, culture\, and enduring spirit of the “People From the Top of the Land.” \nTrained from an early age as a singer and storyteller by his grandparents\, Sidney and Essie Parrish\, Wilder has spent his life preserving and sharing Kashaya culture. A visual artist by profession\, his background includes work in graphic design and illustration\, along with service as a cultural consultant and tribal leader.\nThe evening promises an intimate look into a vibrant Indigenous heritage through one of its most dedicated voices.
