Melitta’s illustrations\, often crafted with watercolor\, gouache\, and ink\, reflect the serene beauty of the natural world. Marlette complements this with digital designs that infuse cultural elements into their art\, while also working with pastels. \nThe daughter and mother team are both Cal Poly Humboldt alumni\, where they also currently work. Melitta serves as a Resource Sharing and Information Specialist in the library\, and Marlette advises the Indian Tribal Education Personnel Program. Both are pursuing master’s degrees in the Environment and Community Program\, bringing their passions for nature and community into their art. \nExplore Their Art\nMelitta and Marlette’s collaborative work strikes a perfect balance of tradition and modernity.
