DESCRIPTION:The Native American Land Conservancy (NALC) invites you to Tend the Land with us\, a volunteer program that encourages community to care for the landscape through the removal of invasive vegetation\, trash\, and more while learning about the cultural heritage\, plants and wildlife of traditional Native lands from NALC staff. \nJanuary’s Tending the Land event will take place in the Coachella Valley near Desert Hot Springs\, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Full location details will only be revealed to registered volunteers during the volunteer orientation one week prior to the event\, in an effort to protect this cultural landscape.
