DESCRIPTION:Join the Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab on Saturday\, June 14th\, August 9th\, and August 30th from 9am-12pm for our Stewardship Saturday Summer Series in Wiyot Plaza!\n\nWiyot Plaza serves as the lab’s dedicated exterior space for land-based education and restoration. This space features a salmon cooking pit behind Cal Poly Humboldt’s Native Forum\, acorn processing center\, and a Native Plant Landscape. Come support the lab and the land in remediation and restoration\n.\nEquipment such as gloves and tools will be provided\, along with some light drinks and snacks.\n\nYou are welcome to come to any of the dates\, anytime from 9am-12pm as works for you. DESCRIPTION:Join the Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab on Friday\, August 29th from 9am-12pm for volunteering with UIHS Potawot gardens! This collaboration provides students and community members an opportunity to work with multiple tribal food sovereignty organizations. Equipment such as gloves and tools will be provided.\n\nUIHS Potawot is located in Arcata\, CA. Transportation will not be provided\, but carpooling will be organized. If driving\, please use Ribeiro Lane. Drive to the parking lot and meet with Potawot and Rou Dalaguur FSL staff. If you do not have transportation close to the date of volunteering\, please email jvl25@humboldt.edu
