Graciously hosted by the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians\, Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians\, Ah Mutt Pipa Foundation and Xumarr Ahkoots for these events. \nFriday\, January 24 from 12:00pm-4:00pm\nLocation: Agua Caliente Cultural Museum – 140 N Indian Canyon Dr\, Palm Springs\, CA 92262 \nRegistration is encouraged but not required to attend – the council may send out parking and other logistical information to Eventbrite registered attendees. Register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ca-truth-healing-council-january-2025-regional-hearings-southern-ca-tickets-1106741847659?aff=oddtdtcreator \nThese meetings will be recorded and fully in-person with no hybrid option (recording will be posted to the Governor’s Office of Tribal Affairs YouTube page afterwards). \nRegional Hearings are typically half day meetings and are an opportunity for tribes to provide testimony on record to the Council or can be an opportunity for California Native Americans to provide testimony on specific issues that may be unique to the region. All convenings of the Council are open to the general public; however\,  participation of local California Native Americans will be prioritized during the meeting.
