SUMMARY:Dam Removal Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The Klamath Dam Removal Host Committee invites you to join them for celebration of the largest dam removal project in the world and rebirth of the Klamath River. Once again\, the Klamath River is free-flowing\, back in its natural channel. While there are still years of habitat work ahead to restore the river\, salmon can return to their homewaters for the first time in over a century! \nPlease join in celebrating this historic accomplishment. The committee looks forwards to the gathering of family\, friends\, and colleagues. There will be food\, music\, and stories shared. Opening prayer begins at noon. \nThe celebration will be completely outdoors\, so please be sure to bring proper attire for the weather conditions. \nFor questions\, please contact Poppy Ferris-George at Wendy@klamathrenewal.org or Krystyna Wolniakowski at krystyna@klamathrenewal.org. Vendors welcome\, please contact dejageorge@hotmail.com for more information.
