What do we bring to our culture\, our people\, our artforms\, and how do IndigeQueer culture bearers affect change in our communities through our medicina? \nThis event will include song offerings by the Wakan Wiya Two Spirit Drum\, as well as an altar honoring our IndigeQueer ancestors and transcestors. \nIndigeQueer Panelists: \nLidia Ruelo Salazar\, queer herbalist\, healing practitioner\, and community organizer with roots in Mexican Curanderismo\, Ticiyotl\, and western herbal training. Founder of Tierra Rituals \nAmelia Vigil\, Two Spirit Xicana poet and performance artist\, community organizer and advocate\, and fund development visionary with Picuris Pueblo and P’urhépecha heritage. Former Board member and Interim Executive Director with Bay Area American Indian Two Spirits (BAAITS) \nM. Zamora\, IndigeQueer Drumkeeper with the Wakan Wiya Two Spirit Drum\, ceremonial singer\, feminist educator and community organizer\, of Xicana\, Tongva and Yaqui roots.
