Acorn Day – Saturday, October 19 (10:00 am to 4:00 pm)
  • This annual event celebrates the cultural importance of the acorn!
  • Acorn Day is a family-oriented event that includes admission to the State Indian Museum (SIM) and Sutter’s Fort SHP.
    • Admission: Adults $5.00, Youth $3.00, 5 and under are free
  • We will have several hands-on activities and crafts during the day as well as host demonstrations provided by participating community partners:
    • Featured demonstrators:
      • Diana Almendariz, Acorn Processing
      • Dixie Rogers, Basket Weaving
      • Paul Blake, California Indian Storytelling
    • Other activities:
      • Arts & crafts, educational booths, and guided tours of the park (included with price of admission).
