Join Chumash Indian Museum on Saturday, July 11 at 3 PM for an afternoon with tribal public health researcher and advocate Desirae Barragan (@dessbarr, @thenativepremed). In this interactive presentation, participants will learn how traditional ecological knowledge, healing plants, and cultural practices continue to support community wellness and resilience today. Through a Native public health lens, the presentation will honor how Native communities protect ancestral knowledge while navigating modern conversations around holistic health and healing.
