California Native Harm Reduction Summit: Rooted in Tradition, Rising to Action
June 23 - June 25

The California Native Harm Reduction Summit, “Rooted in Tradition, Rising to Action,” brings together Tribal and urban Native community members, people with lived and living experience of drug use, health professionals, government representatives, and local leaders to address the ongoing challenges around substance use and stigma. This gathering fosters meaningful discussions on how harm reduction strategies can break down barriers to care, expand access to integrated treatment, and strengthen community connections through equity-driven education and culturally responsive practices.
Across California Indian Country, it’s important for communities to come together and strengthen our relationships. The organization sees a harm reductionist, intersectional health approach as a way for communities to collectively rise to action. They hope for this summit to be a site of fostering connections with one another, sharing knowledge and experience, and building a thriving network together.
Join the organization in Monterey, California from June 23 through June 25, 2025 for this multi-day convening.
