California’s American Indian & Indigenous Film Festival (CAIIFF) offers audiences in Southern California the finest work in American Indian film and media on an annual basis. On April 2nd, 2022, CAIIFF presents the California Premiere of the live theatrical production of “Bear Grease” starring Crystal Lightning and MC RedCloud. On April 3rd, 2022, CAIIFF presents the West Coast premiere of “Imagining the Indian: The Fight Against Native American Mascoting” a documentary that examines the movement that is ending the use of Native American names, logos, and mascots in the world of sports and beyond.
