Flintknapping Workshop

Turn rocks into tools in this one-day workshop! Flintknapping is the ancient technique of shaping stone, typically flint or obsidian, into tools or survival blades like arrowheads, knives, axes and hide scrapers. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to carefully strike stones to refine the shape and sharpness of your tool. Taught by Native American flintknapper, Steven Saffold (Chumash). Space is limited!
