Modesto Junior College Powwow

Save the date for MJC’s Inter Tribal, Honoring our Ancestors Powwow 2026, hosted by the SIERRA Program. This years theme is “Tradition is Our Medicine; Knowledge is Our Fire” for this Spring’s event and will be held on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, 10 am – 6 pm on the MJC East Campus Quad. This meaningful celebration brings together Native communities from across California and throughout Turtle Island! Event will include dancing, singing, drumming, traditional arts and crafts, food and friendship – all centered on unity and cultural pride. This is a free event, and open to the public.
