Momím Wené | Medicine Water: Flowing through Indian Country

This Valentine’s day through May 10th enjoy the paintings, basketry, jewelry and other works from over 30 Native artists — love letters, if you will, to water. The exhibition “Momím Wené: Medicine Water” was curated by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians Exhibits and Collections Center. Starting in central California Nisenan territory, it is now flowing to the home of the Ukiah Valley Pomo, where their voices have been integrated into the story.
