California Native American Day

SDSU Manchester Hall/Native Resource Center Centennial Plaza, San Diego, California

The center will be celebrating California Native Day on Friday, September 27th! From 12pm-1pm they'll be unveiling the third Living Land Acknowledgement statue. Project artist Johnny Bear Contreras will be joining to share more insight about the art pieces! There will be a dessert reception to follow at the NRC after the unveiling.

Unveiling Ceremony: Witness the grand reveal of the tomol mural and learn about the inspiration and creation process from the Chumash artist Matt Dominguez. Chumash and tomol paddler community members are encouraged to attend! June 8th, 1pm.
