The 33rd annual California Indian Conference (CIC) will take place this year at Sonoma State University (SSU) on Thursday, November 14 through Sunday, November 16.
As the sole forum for the sharing of knowledge, scholarship, and issues of importance related to Native California, the CIC brings together California Indians, academics, tribal scholars, educators and students, public agencies and institutions, tribal communities and organizations, and the general public. If you’d like to be added to the conference notification list or to assist with conference planning, please email overall conference Volunteer Co-Facilitators Gregg Castro and Beverly Ortiz at ca.indian.conf@gmail.com. As a planning committee member, depending on your interests and priorities, you’ll have an opportunity to assist with the program, events, publicity, funding, and/or hospitality.
