2025 Southwestern Tribal Summit: Mountains to the Sea

The institute invites you to the fourth convening of the Southwestern Tribal Summit, “Mountains to the Sea” on May 7-8, 2025 on Chumash land in Ventura, California.

Hosted by the Climate Science Alliance and Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals and in collaboration with Native Coast Action Network, Sacred Places Institute for Indigenous Peoples, and Wishtoyo, the Summit will bring together Tribal leaders, environmental professionals, and community members from across the Southwest. Plan for two days of engaging discussions and activities centered around the coastal nexus of land and water, and collaborative efforts to advance meaningful Tribal and community-led stewardship and restoration across the region.
