Discover the environmental significance of California’s top keystone plant species and why the nuts they produce have been a culturally significant traditional food staple for California Native peoples since time immemorial. Acorn Day features demonstrations by Diana Almendariz (Maidu/Wintu, Nisenan, Hupa/Yurok) and her family, arts & crafts, educational booths, guided tours of the park, and more!
