California Truth & Healing Council Regional Hearings @ Valley Center

Please join the first of three California Truth & Healing Council Regional Hearings in Southern California in January. Graciously hosted by the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians, Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, Ah Mutt Pipa Foundation and Xumarr Ahkoots for these events.

These meetings will be recorded and fully in-person with no hybrid option (recording will be posted to the Governor’s Office of Tribal Affairs YouTube page afterwards).

Regional Hearings are typically half day meetings and are an opportunity for tribes to provide testimony on record to the Council or can be an opportunity for California Native Americans to provide testimony on specific issues that may be unique to the region. All convenings of the Council are open to the general public; however,  participation of local California Native Americans will be prioritized during the meeting.
