MMIP San Diego Summit

MMIP SAN DIEGO combats human trafficking in local indigenous communities through awareness, education, and countywide law enforcement collaboration.

Initiatives include expanding the Acorns to Oaks program for young Indigenous girls, assigning a tribal officer in San Diego Human Trafficking Task Force and providing a Digital Resource Center to confront the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous People.

Panel discussion include awareness training with state of the art educational tools and programs, law enforcement collaboration discussion panel and a health and healing survivor experience panel. Summit will also include an introduction to the new Digital Resource Center to confront the crises of Mission and Murdered Indigenous People.
