Land Relationship Workshop: Tree Trimming, Brush Removal, and Aquifer Recharge

Reconnect with the land and learn sustainable practices for fire prevention and aquifer recharge in this hands-on, physical workshop on Friday December 13th, 9 am-3 pm! Email lacey@indigenousregeneration.org to sign up and receive location information.

Learn to build man-made beaver dams and rock drops to slow water on your land; use fire-adaptive plants to enhance fire readiness; are prepare your land for cultural burns using Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK).

Special Guests: Experts from SDGE, Tree San Diego, and Indigenous Regeneration will share actionable insights, including SDGE’s collaboration with local tribes to implement cultural burning practices.

What to Bring: A sack lunch; water bottle; sun protection (hat); closed-toe shoes or boots.
